I love photographing athletes in what I call staged action. By this I mean that I carefully light the athlete with a specific action or image in mind, much like a commercial advertising image. I photographed Sheena and Laura out in Kananaskis at Elbow falls, a beautiful location not too far outside of Calgary. Heres some of my favourite images from the shoot:
